First Aid

Commonly asked questions
Is 100% IPA better than 70% for disinfecting?
Counter-intuitively, 70% IPA is the more effective disinfectant because the water content slows evaporation and helps denature proteins. 100% IPA is best for electronics and residue-free cleaning where water is undesirable.
Will IPA damage screens?
Pure IPA is safe on most glass screens, but avoid oleophobic-coated displays and painted plastics. Always test a small area first.
